Easy Roasted Chicken With Yedi Pressure Cooker

This recipe is one easy roasted chicken with my favorite Yedi Pressure Cooker. I didn’t plan on using my pressure cooker for roasting a whole chicken, but life happens! In between kids games I decided to just broil the chicken for minutes then put it in the pressure cooker and leave it in for about half hour to a perfect tenderness. It turns out juicy, tender and perfectly golden! It was a delight after our soccer game!

Roasted chicken with salad

Ingredients

About 5pounds of whole chicken clean, and inside stuffs removed

3 tablespoons olive oil

3TBSP Lime Juice

4 TBSP Parsley Paste

2TBP Ginger Powder

2TBSP of Garlic Powder

2TBSP Salt

1TBSP of Ground Pepper

Msg-free bouillon seasoning (optional)

Instructions

Combine all ingredients and form a paste.

Rub spices inside the chicken under the skin and all over the chicken

In the oven Broil chicken on each side for 10mins each to get a nice roasted chicken skin.

Put the chicken in the Yedi Houseware pressure cooking pot

Select High Pressure and set the timer for 35 minutes.

When beep sounds, turn off the Yedi Houseware pressure cooker and let the pressure release naturally for 15 minutes. Quick release any remaining pressure. When valve drops carefully remove lid. Carefully remove the meat from the pressure cooker to a large platter and enjoy.

Serve with a side of salad
