Beef Sauteed over Tomato Salad and Turmeric Rice

Beef Sauteed over Tomato Salad and Turmeric Rice is a Quick easy and festive way to enjoy leftover rice.  For the turmeric rice I used a previously cooked white rice. You do not need rice to go with this dish. Frankly the tomato salad and sauteed beef is all you need. Click here for the recipe video. Maybe use cauliflower instead of rice. The sky is the limit. So for this recipe, what you need is listed below:

Ingredients:

For the beef

  • 4 cups of cubed beef
  • 4 tablespoons of (onion- ginger-garlic-anise mixture)
  • 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons of salt (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons of msg
  • msg-free bouillon (to taste)
  • 2 Tablespoons of oil (optional)

*For the Rice*

  • 4 cups of precooked white rice
  • 4 cloves of garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric
  • 2 teaspoons of msg-free bouillon (to taste)

* For the Tomato topping

  • 2 cups of cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 bunch of cilantro
  • 1 medium red onion diced
  • 2 tablespoons of lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons of Olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt (to taste)

For Serving:

  • Optional sour cream
  • Extra chopped cilantro
  • Golden Pepperoncini

Ingredients

For the beef

4 cups of cubed beef

2 teaspoons of salt (to taste)

1 teaspoon of black pepper

2 Tablespoons of oil (optional)

For the Rice

4 cups of precooked white rice

4 cloves of garlic minced

2 tablespoons of oil

2 teaspoons of msg-free bouillon (to taste)

For the Tomato Topping

2 cups of cherry tomatoes halved

1 bunch of cilantro

1 medium red onion diced

2 tablespoons of lime juice

2 tablespoons of Olive oil

1/2 teaspoon of salt (to taste)

For serving: (optional)

Optional sour cream

Extra chopped cilantro

Golden Pepperoncini

Instructions

In a mixing bowl combine your cubed beef with 4 tablespoons of (onion- ginger-garlic-anise) mixture, 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, 2 teaspoons of salt,1 teaspoon of black pepper, 2 teaspoons of msg-free bouillon.

Let it rest for fifteen about 20mins to 30mins then start sautéing the beef on medium heat in a skillet with your 2 tablespoons of oil.

Once all liquid evaporated cooked the meat until light brown then remove and set aside.

While the meat was resting in the fridge you would’ve already prepared your tomato salad by mixing the following: 2 cups of cherry tomatoes halved, 1 bunch of cilantros finely chopped, 1 medium red onion diced, 2 tablespoons of lime juice, 2 tablespoons of Olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon of salt then set aside.

Now that the beef is done, Use the same skillet with leftover grease from the beef to sauté your rice.

Add   4 cloves of garlic minced, 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 2 tablespoons of oil, 2 teaspoons of msg-free bouillon and 4 cups of precooked white rice.

Mix well until all ingredients are well combined for about 5 minutes.

Remove and serve with your beef and tomato salad.
